My name is Cristina Biancaniello and I am a graduate student at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania pursuing a
Master of Science in the Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. I also obtained my undergraduate degree in Elementary
Education from Bloomsburg University. I have created this online portfolio to share my teaching experiences and what
I've learned throughout my education.
My passion has always been to work with children and open their minds up to endless possibilities. I have wanted
to teach Deaf/Hard of Hearing children since I entered my first ASL class in high school. I find it to be
the most rewarding and fulfilling job. My teaching philosophy will always be to help students reach their
fullest potential in a caring, safe and inspirational environment. I believe each student is an individual with
different learning styles which I will incorporate to further their success in a creative atmosphere.
